Cultural and social activities
At Liden & Denz we combine intensive studies with a wide range of excursions and other cultural and social activities year round to give our students an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the magnificent cities of St.Petersburg or Moscow and – no less important – with the way of life in Russia. Some activities are free, such as the city tour for new students and our Friday cocktail. Other activities are sold at reasonable rates. Our activity live schedule
You can book any Liden & Denz activities from your computer, even before you arrive in Russia. Booking before arrival helps to make the most out of your Russian experience, especially if you stay only for a couple of weeks. Please note that all our excursions include – where applicable – entrance tickets. This is of vital importance in high-season as you will avoid long lines in front of the museums and palaces, particularly in St.Petersburg.
Please note that booked excursions and activities will not be refunded. However, a ticket for a booked excursion can be traded in for another ticket, for as long as you stay with us.
We use our Russian language teachers as guides, wherever this is possible. Some museums and palaces place restrictions on outside guides. In these cases local guides will work alongside with our staff.
Meet Russian students at Liden & Denz
At our schools foreign students can meet Russians who study English, German or French. Several times per year, we organise popular joint events (culinary workshops, boat trips etc.) for our Russian and foreign students to encourage their language and cultural exchange.
Ticket service
We book tickets for many different cultural events, from ballet to open-air concerts or football matches. A booking fee is payable. We also sell train and air tickets for weekend trips and can book hotels in other parts of Russia. This service is only available in St.Petersburg.
Holders of an ISIC card (International Student Identification Card) get substantial discounts at many museums, palaces, concert halls, galleries, cinemas and shops. This card can be ordered and purchased either at school or using the link below. Please note that discounted entrance tickets to museums and palaces are only available on the spot, where lines might be long, especially during summer.
