Veliky Novgorod is one of the most historic and most ancient Russian towns in the North-West.

It is located in between Moscow and ST-Petersburg and dates back to the IXth century.

Visitors will be shown around the Kremlin, the walls of which defended the ancient city of Novgorod and also served as the city centre. The literal translation for Kremlin means fortress. You will see unique Cathedrals of ST Sophia (XI century) and ST George (XII century) of the Yuriev Monastery among many others and the Museum of the Wooden Architecture.
